The second show went well on osset. I was only really involved with the Dress Rehearsals and the first show in Friday as I was working on Saturday.

I was in work on Sat due to a roll out of a new radiology system and was there in case anything really went wrong. Couple of things did - firstly just after we got in the ageining UPS failed. Luckily we already had the replacement in the office, so that was sort quickly. Some printiner setting up, a computer move and that was about it. Mainly a lot of waiting around. After this I went to The Market Tavern in Bradford as my mate was not on playing but had managed to not get out of his job as sound Engineer at said venue, so well I ended up flying the desk for his set. Went well, just took a while to get the volume loud enough in his monitors (3 -4 times what it was than when I go to the desk). After that went to a club, but left caus I was felling tired. About 30min after I left apparently the DJ spilt his pint eventually causing his to not only damage the mixing desk but fry the tweeters in all the speaks (which had apparently only just been replaced). I don't know what it is but just after I leave if I go down to the place on Saturday something always seems to happen.

This week at work has mainly been spent getting on with normal jobs and fixing radiology problems which have crept up. 100+ computer been put out, all with the wrong version of Java (got updated via sms but some people didn't turn the computers on till the system went live) has led to a few minor problems here and these to fix.

I'm also working again this weekend and on call. We are finally putting an end to our old domain and migrating all the computers and users over to the new one. Basically we there just in case we break anything critical (or people have been ignoring the various messages to contact us if they need to use their computers on Saturday) and get some testing done along the way.
